Day 307 - Election Judge

Today, I was an Election Judge for the Silverthorne Special Election.    Only one  issue regarding the town's power of Eminet Domain was on the ballot. 

More voters voted on this issue than Silverthorne has had any prior elections. 

I worked from 6:30AM until 9:30PM.  We were busy all day long and had some reconcilation issues that required us to go to the Summit County Clerk's office to get them resolved prior to counting the votes. 

The issue failed which means that Silverthorne can use Eminet Domain to complete a bike path along the river.  Although, We can not vote on Silverthorne issues since we are now within the town limits, we would have voted "NO" on the issue.
