Y2D36 - Zen Monk

Thought this was an interesting photo. Spotted this monk earlier in the day while at the Nanzenji Temple. As we were walking out, he walked passed us, stopped started chanting, and begging for money and/or food.
Most monks we had seen were wearing the traditional orange robe. This is Japanese Zen monk properly dressed for takahatsu, or begging for alms. If you click on the photo you will be able to fully see him including his sandles.
