The Yi Peng Festival is held near the ground of Mae Jo University (Chiang Mai, Thailand) and is the largest lantern ceremony in all of Thailand. It’s part of a week of festivities surrounding the Loi Krathong festival, a festival that occurs around the 12th full moon every year.We attended the festival.
